Our previous dermaroller treatment is now carried out with the new Dermapen device, which is an improved, mechanized version of the well-known dermaroller (micro-needle roller), which is already well-known and famous for its excellent results. Its use is simple and safe, and it enables gentle and effective skin tightening on any surface of the face and body. One of the newest and most effective methods for reducing and eliminating large pores and wrinkles. All contours of the face can be treated with it, even the more sensitive, hard-to-reach areas.

The common feature of the listed changes is the lack of collagen. Collagen is still present in our body in a dissolved state when we are young and makes up 70% of the skin's connective tissue, therefore it plays a special role in preserving the youth and freshness of our skin. As age progresses, collagen becomes more and more rigid, its ability to hold water decreases, and as a result, the skin becomes inelastic and wrinkled. Medical dermapen treatment helps to prevent and even reverse the process of collagen loss.

What is the effectiveness of the medical dermapen?

The medical dermapen treatment is a collagen induction therapy that is performed with a treatment head with tiny needles on its surface. The needles penetrate the skin and cause micro-injuries that are invisible to the naked eye. Thanks to these small injuries, the wound healing process starts, which increases the synthesis of collagen and elastin in the skin, and at the same time results in skin renewal. During this natural healing process, the production of collagen fibers increases, which results in the spectacular smoothing of small wrinkles and furrows, the disappearance of minor skin defects and a younger, fresher appearance of the skin. Due to the higher water-holding capacity of the newly produced collagen, the skin will be tight and velvety to the touch.

What is the difference between cosmetic and medical dermapen treatment?

On the dermaroller/dermapen used by beauticians, the needle length can be no more than 0,5 mm, so it only reaches the uppermost layers of the epidermis, and accordingly, its effect is superficial. THE however, the length of the needles on dermapen, which can only be used by doctors, reaches 2,2 mm, which penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin. During the dermapen treatment, we also use medical serums with high active ingredients, which can be firming (anti-aging), revitalizing, pigment spot-fading, antioxidant, stem cell-containing and skin tone-improving ampoules according to your skin's needs.

How is the treatment done?

The dermapen treatment is performed by our specialists under local anesthesia, so the procedure causes no pain, only minimal discomfort. Both the speed and the needle length can be adjusted on the device, so very precise treatment is possible, since different depths and intensities can be used, e.g. on the cheeks and around the eyes, depending on the grids and skin defects to be treated. Through these micro-injuries, the active ingredients are delivered to the deeper layers of the skin. The micro-injuries close almost immediately after the treatment. The skin becomes tight and elastic, and its beneficial effects can be felt for months. The healing time is only 12-24 hours, depending on the needle length of the dermapen - corresponding to the depth of the wrinkles and scars.
